Turkmen Rug collectors and vintage lovers, this authentic hand-knotted wool carpet brings together timeless elegance and cultural depth. Crafted in the 1980s by 4 master weavers from Lebap, Turkmenistan, it features a classic Oriental pattern with a warm red hue and subtle patina from age.
Woven from 100% Saryja sheep wool, it boasts a dense knot count of 165 KPSI, ensuring excellent durability and softness underfoot. Perfect for large spaces such as living rooms, offices, or dining areas, this rug carries the legacy of Ersari tribal craftsmanship and has been recognized as part of UNESCO’s cultural heritage.
Please ignore any creases on the rug, as these are due to it being tightly packed during transit. The creases will naturally disappear within about a week once the rug is laid flat and walked upon. Additionally, please note that colors may slightly differ from the images shown due to lighting conditions and screen settings.
Need more visuals or a closer look? We can provide you with additional real-time photos of this rug directly from our showroom in Turkmenistan. Feel free to reach out to us — we’re happy to assist you personally and help you choose the perfect rug with confidence.
