Footnote: 2096 (previously 493091) Private Ernest S. Jenner, 2nd/3rd West Riding Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps entered the French theatre on December 17, 1914. He died on November 27, 1917 and is buried in Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery, Manancourt, Somme, France, Grave Reference: III. A. 20, home to 2,016 casualties. For his First World War service, he was posthumously awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
