Instituted in 1908. In silver and silver gilt, skeletal oval topped by crown, the obverse bearing the Royal monogram of King George VI, reverse 1943, original ribbon with clasp reading ‘Territorial’, 

 55.1 mm (h) x 36.4 mm (w), extremely fine. In a hard-shelled case, white satin lined on the inside lid, red velvet medal bed, marked Royal Mint, extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Territorial Forces Decoration was instituted on 29 September 1908 and was awarded for a minimum of 20 years commissioned service, with service in the ranks counting half and war service counting double.
