This species blooms with outstanding 3 to 6-foot tall spikes decorated with round, 1.5\" cup-shaped flowers with a perfect dove shape in the center. The flowers are thick, waxy, long-lasting and have a strong mint fragrance.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese plants love moisture and heat! Grow warm to have the fastest and best results. They flower in the summer from July to October. The pseudobulbs can be as big as a softball. Provide medium bright light levels, intermediate to warm temperatures and steady watering throughout the year. Peristerias are heavy feeders and require high levels of fertilizer when in active growth.
