Tasting Notes
With 68g of residual sugar, this is a beautiful madeira showcasing the magic of the rare and almost extinct Terrantez grape. On the nose, it is fragrant with fresh orange peel, roasted coffee bean, dried apricot and herbs. The palate is smooth, elegant and complex, with layers of furniture store, dusty soil, smokiness and earthy notes. It is a full bodied, well defined and alluring madeira, with stunning acidity on the persistent, razor sharp and intensely satisfying finish. This is an exquisite Terrantez from the top drawer.
