MOON 330A POWER AMPLIFIER – BALANCED POWER AND MUSICALITY

The MOON 330A is a stereo power amplifier that combines powerful performance with a sound quality usually associated with much more expensive designs. It delivers a tight and authoritative bass foundation, while voices and instruments float freely in an open soundstage filled with natural ambience and detail.

Technically, the 330A is a stereo version of the award-winning 400M monoblock, and it is built to the same uncompromising standards that have made MOON one of the world's most respected high-end brands.

POWER AND PRECISION

With a power output of 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 250 watts into 4 ohms, the 330A delivers plenty of power for most speakers. For even more power, it can be bridged into a mono configuration and delivers a whopping 400 watts into 8 ohms. The high damping factor ensures that the bass always remains tight, fast and well-defined – regardless of the music genre.

The amplifier operates in Class A up to 5 watts, providing the warmth and naturalness that Class A amplifiers are known for at lower volumes. When more power is required, it switches seamlessly to Class AB to exploit its full potential.

CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNOLOGY

The MOON 330A is built with a fully balanced differential circuit that minimizes noise and ensures clean signal processing. The proprietary bipolar transistors are precision matched to optimize bass response and deliver a precise, musical sound.

A powerful power supply with a custom-designed toroidal transformer provides stability in all conditions. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB and a frequency response of 10 Hz to 125 kHz, the 330A delivers an open and detailed sound, preserving even the finest nuances. Distortion is extremely low – 0.02% at 1 watt and 0.05% at full output.
