The Monumental Classical Two Mermaids and Dolphin Bronze Fountain stands 350cm tall and presents a full narrative seascape in cast bronze: a standing mermaid raises a great shell overhead while a second crouches over a wide open clam basin below, a leaping dolphin arcing between them and a sea turtle resting quietly on a mid-level rock ledge.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Mixed Patina

Every surface of this monumental bronze fountain sculpture is produced by the lost-wax casting method, which captures the fine texture of seaweed fronds, scale detail on each mermaid tail, and the organic contours of the rocky base with precision impossible through any other process. The hand-applied patina is a deliberate two-tone treatment: warm golden-brown tones enliven the figure skin and architectural highlights, while deep verdigris green-blue settles across the tail scales, dolphin, sea turtle, and base elements. Dark brown detailing throughout reinforces the sculptural depth and gives the composition its aged, gallery-grade presence. The broad integral base is cast as one with the sculpture, finished in the same dark verdigris, and the bronze fountain basin formed by the open clam shell is plumbed to receive a recirculating water feed.

At 350cm and 750kg, this piece is scaled for significant outdoor settings: the forecourts of hotels, the central axis of formal gardens, civic plazas, or large private estates with a classical water feature programme. The verdigris and gold palette reads strongly against pale stone terracing, dark hedging, and white rendered walls alike.
