One of the best ground covers for shade, this clump grower has arching, grass-like green foliage 12" tall. It has lilac blue flowers in July and August, which are then followed by shiny black berries in the fall. Cut back the old foliage in early spring and that's about all the maintenance they require. Mass it under trees and shrubs or use it as edging.
