xThe Electro-Voice EVF 15 is a passive point source loudspeaker designed for short- to medium-throw sound reinforcement in demanding installed audio environments. As part of the EVF G2 family, it has been reworked with new in-house transducers, a low-loss crossover design, and support for next-generation flat-phase FIR presets with low system latency. This makes it a strong fit for projects that need predictable voicing, high output capability, and consistent coverage across single-cabinet or arrayed deployments.
EVF 15 is available in multiple coverage patterns including 60° x 40°, 60° x 60°, 90° x 50°, and 90° x 90°, giving system designers more flexibility when matching the loudspeaker to room geometry. Indoor and fully weatherized options are offered, with IP55-certified models intended for outdoor use when installed with the moisture-resistant cover and a minimum 5° down tilt. Electro-Voice also notes full-weatherized versions are suitable for exposed environments including high-salt marine locations.
For installation efficiency, the cabinet includes removable Euroblock connections, a built-in NL4 connection, and rear Omni-mount points for compatible accessories. The updated grille is designed to withstand high SPL conditions while wet and remains fully front-serviceable. Suspension support includes U-brackets, wall brackets, eyebolts, and rigging kits, making the EVF 15 a versatile choice for theaters, houses of worship, stadium support systems, and music venues.
