There are a few external factors that might stop it working or slow it down which aren't able to be controlled by the product. The health of the plant, external factors like light, watering, temperature and humidity, whether you fertilise or not, how many nodes you applied it to, whether you scored or notched (or not), or simply how long it's been since you applied it.

For example, if you got Crazy Keiki to 'fill in the blanks' for a plant that's lost leaves, the same reason it lost the leaves can also stop Crazy Keiki working (such as inconsistent watering). Remember the health of the plant should be 100% first, so fix what's wrong before applying Crazy Keiki to get the best results.

However, often the answer is simply patience and normal plant care. The same as propagating, some plants take longer than others, and times of year when it's darker and colder (like winter), slows it down further, the same as growth in general for plants when it's colder or darker. Softer stemmed plants tend to work faster (as soon as 2 weeks), but harder or woodier stemmed plants (which also need scoring or notching), can take 6 to 8 weeks or longer.

Science Direct: Phytochemistry, Hormones in Growth and Development

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0789/8274/2261/files/new-crazy-keiki-cloning-paste-bottle-nz.jpg?v=1782773782
