Type: Plastic Nursery Pot
Size: 2 Inch Diameter
Light: Place your Aloe and Haworthia plants in bright, indirect sunlight. They can tolerate lower light conditions, but they do best in moderate, indirect light. Avoid exposing them to intense, direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Temperature: Maintain a warm indoor environment with temperatures between 59-77°F (15-25°C). Protect these plants from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly but infrequently. It's essential to let the top inch (2.5 cm) of the soil become dry before watering again. During the growing season (spring and summer), water sparingly, and reduce watering in the dormant season (fall and winter).
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix designed for succulents or cacti. Good drainage is crucial to prevent root rot. A mixture of potting soil, perlite, and sand works well.
Pot: Choose pots with drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating at the root level. Succulents prefer slightly crowded conditions and do not require frequent repotting.
Fertilization: Feed your Aloe and Haworthia sparingly. Apply a balanced, water-soluble succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing, as it can harm the plants.
Pests: These succulents are typically pest-resistant, but occasionally, mealybugs or aphids may appear. Inspect your plants regularly and treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
